Saturday, May 11th 5-8pm and Sunday May 12th 12-3pm RECLAMATION! A Recycled Materials Art Experience

Second Weekend Port Angeles is our community's monthly arts and culture celebration. At Studio Bob, it starts on Thursday evening with Drink and Draw, moves into Friday night with open hours at the Loom bar, slides into the Saturday gallery walk from 5:00 to 8:00 pm with a rotating display of local artists and live music by Tin Sandwich, and then wraps up with a Sunday afternoon art reception from 12 to 3.

Trashion Show Encore Show begins at 1 p.m.  
Participating Artists for the “Reclamation! A Recycled Materials Art Experience”are Christopher Allen, Sarah Tucker, Roger Bogers, Mary Lewis and Brad Griffith. Interactive Mini-Golf as well as workshops and projects that are fun for the whole family. A special Trashion Show will take place at 1pm Sunday featuring participants from the Crazy Callen Weekend Trashion Show that were part of the Irrigation Festival. New entries will also be featured in this Fashion Show styled Trashion Show. What is Trashion? It might be clothing made of recycled/re-purposed/non-traditional materials with the rule being 75% of what can be seen should be non-traditional materials (foundation/structurally supportive undergarments are fine). It might be functional/practical or can be artistic/wearable art. It should be visually striking and make a statement. Often, materials are used to dictate a theme (i.e, canning lids and rings = Ball gown)  
Closing Reception for this event is Saturday, July 6th 4 to 7 p.m.
